Karate Island
Market District - Anne's Bar
3:00PM

Karate Island, a melting pot of sweat, blood and tears for martial artists all across the South Blue. With no naval facilities officially on site, many criminals take refuge on the island, thinking that they can through their bounty and infamous name around to intimidate the locals. "Look Mister... If you're not buying anything could ya' move it along, I got tables to wait on." Anne exclaimed, blowing an elastic bubblegum bubble with the peppermint stick she had been gnawing on since noon. Standing at ten foot tall, the troublemaker rose from his seated position, stooping down to the five foot waitress in quite the socially awkward manner, pressing his cheek against the woman's. The feel of his stubble on her cheek, along with the utter disrespect for personal space, prompted the bar owner to rip her fist into the big oath's jaw, but no dice. Chuckling, "Woman! You think that little insect bite of a punch can harm me. I'm the pirate that they called Big Totem Jed." the man exclaimed, latching onto the woman's fist tightly with immense irritation on his face. Almost like clockwork, similar to that of a late night show's studio audience, Jed's minions chimed in laughing at the woman's futile attempt to struggle, currently trying to break her grip from Jed's hold. Sleeping on a table in the corner since the night before, trying to wait for the owner's gaze to alleviate, under the guise of being a smiling drunk, Sundance's face laid comfortably tucked away onto of his broad arms, one eye peering towards the situation. "How about a kiss and I'll let you go... say... Anne?" Jed said, chuckling pervertedly. Whispers from the locals began to shot up around the whole incident, "There goes Anne's big mouth again! Mouthing off to these foreigners, now this one's a pirate!" the man whispered, not so discretely, among the onlooking audience. "She used to have her husband to look after her... now she's just a mess. She should've just mind her own business. It's just a bar anyway. Repairs don't even cost much nowadays." another woman exclaimed, commenting on the situation. "Argh!" a loud scream echoed through the pub from it's kitchen. Shooting from behind the door, into the pub's serving area, Anne's son, Troy appeared. "Mom! This blows! Why do I need to help out-" Troy's speech froze from the sight of seeing his mother's hand being gripped from the brute.

"OI!" Troy shouted, dashing towards his mother, slapping his hand against Jed's wrist breaking his grip. "Get your hands off my mother pig." Troy said, tilting his eyes towards the ground with an intensity that would burn a hole through Jed if eye-contact was to occur. "This is our place! Get-" Troy exclaimed, interrupted by the feel of Jed's palm pressing against his nose. Picking up the teenager, Jed dragged the teen like a rag-doll, through several tables in a stretch, ending the assault by slamming the male through the bar's counter. From the last impact, a pool of blood filled the floor, it's origin point the bar owner's son, and he was loosing blood fast. "Troy!" Anne shouted. Wincing his fist to examine the damage, Jed grinned at the boy's attack. "Nice chop. I heard this island was filled of skilled martial artists. However, in our world, fighting is all about the element of surprise!" Jed shouted. "I didn't get my bounty of 20,000,000 Million mucking around against scrubs!" Jed exclaimed, laughing as loud as he could once again. However, his obnoxious laugh was almost just about enough to push Punch over the edge but for now, the bandit simply smiled, peering at the situation with one eye half closed and the other widely expanding, not much, being a mere two meters from the conflict. "Now! How about that kiss!?" Jed said once again, grinning at Anne who now pulled away her face as the man's lips drew closer. Raising his index finger towards the man's head, in the meantime, Troy's body sprung from the rubble, climbing four feet upwards in a lunge jump action, the teen's foot whiplashed Jed two meters into the nearby seating area, to the right of Sundance. Wiping the blood from his forehead, "I might not be as good as Papa... but I made a promise to protect Mama after he passed. My name is Troy Chamberlin! Protege and Heir to the Chamberlin Karate Dojo... Don't you ever forget that punk!" Troy shouted, walking over to check on his mother. Removing their guns, the grunts aimed towards Troy in attempts to shoot the attacker. Within moments, he'd slipped into their blindspots, slamming his fists with precise succession into their solar plexus areas. The five armed men now laid motionless in a bed of their own vomit and saliva. Hobbling over to Anne, the man placed a pistol to the woman's head.

Tilting his boat hat upward, Sundance propped back in the chair now starring at the back of Jed's skull. As he pressed his pistol against the blonde haired barkeeper's, tears began to run down the woman's face. "You might think you're hot-stuff with that bullshit Kung-Fu of yours but as a pirate.. the more toys you got... The more lucrative business can be." Jed exclaimed grinning. Smirking, Sundance rose his finger towards the man's skull, which was now exactly six hundred centimetres from the arc formed by his index finger pointing upward to Jed's ten foot stature towering over the puny barkeep. "Hey." Sundance exclaimed, not actually shouting but also much louder than Punch would usually speak. "Fuck the kiss. I'mma blow your mother's skull all over this-" Jed screamed, before his crude sentence came to an abrupt end. Quite similar to the sound of bacon sizzling in a frying pan, the sound of the acidic projectile eating through the back of Jed's skull filled the afternoon brightly lit room. The sound of the man's pistol falling onto the ground, prompted Anne to create distance from her harasser, that combined with the putrid scent of acid eating into human skin, the fumes alone made the woman feel lightly headed momentarily. As the acidic peg dissolved, Jed's body fell onto the ground, echoing a loud thud noise.

"Ah... Well." Sundance simply exclaimed shrugging, walking over towards the man's body which reeked of fumes similar in scent to hydrochloric acid. The smell was terrible that all of the patrons exited the pub, leaving only Punch, Anne, Troy and Jed's men in the building. Walking over to the carcass, Sundance began to body snatch the deceased pirate of his possessions. From various points on his person, his money bag, treasure map and jewellery were all raided, emptied into the small backpack Sundance carried at his waist. "H-Hey! You! W-What did you do to boss!?" one of Jed's men shouted, stuttering in fear. Looking up from his raiding, Sundance looked towards the men with a very childish and coy expression, "Whadda ya mean, I killed him-dara. Duh." Sundance commented, tilting his head slightly to the side towards the odd question. "Ah... He talked such a big game... He only had about 100,000 thousand on him." Sundance exclaimed, sighing in disappointment. Scrambling for his gun, one of the grunts in fear reached for the gun at his waist, only to point his pistol towards Sundance. Jed's man hand trembled in fear, shaking so violently, any slight movements would result a wild discharge in Sundance's direction. Looking up naturally, Sundance stared the barrel of the gun directly in front of him. "You know..." Sundance began to speak. "I don't know if I should compliment you or be at awe of the shear stupidity of your action-dara." Sundance exclaimed with a blank expression. Fixing his boat hat, Sundance pointed downwards to Jed's skull. The grunts eyes opened widely, dropping the gun from all of the shaking, the grunt began to vomit. Sundance, hopping backwards to avoid it being spewed on his person. The look of the acid eating open their former bosses skull was enough for Jed's grunt stomach to go topsy-turvy.

"That's more of the response I was looking for. Alright you newbies... Listen up!" Sundance shouted. Something about Sundance's tone made the men stand at attention from the command, in moments like these, the soldier in him came out. "Ah... I wasn't really planning to get involved. However, my Momma raised me better than to watch a lady get harassed by a punk-dara. And a cheap one at that!" Sundance exclaimed, changing his childish way of speaking near the end to convey his annoyance about Jed's financial status. "Now! That being said, get out!" Sundance exclaimed, making a scary expression causing Jed's men to b-line out of the pub. Flipping Jed's body onto his back, to hide the gaping hole in his head, Sundance plopped the money bag onto the counter. "Thanks ma'am for the place to sleep-dara. There's your Beli for the drinks and food... When I made it on mainland yesterday... I was pretty much starving! I was floating in that barrel for god knows how long! Then this big wave hit me like" Sundance exclaimed, spreading his arms outward dramatically, making noises with his mouth to mirror that of waves crashing against the barrel. Anne and Troy looked at Sundance extremely confused as to the timeline of events that occurred in the pub. Looking at each other, then looking at Sundance who was smiling broadly in-front of them, Troy took up the batter's box in speaking, "You're pretty weird Miss." Troy stated bluntly. Retreating to the corner sulking, "H-H-He... called me miss." Sundance said extremely depressed. "I really tried to dress 'manly'! God-damnit-dara! The guys in that store told me this jacket was 'guts'!" Sundance shouted, scratching his head in frustration, making sure to dig underneath the hat to avoid damaging his prized gem.

Standing up straight, the neatly trimmed, red zipper jacket wearing and girly faced Sundance, made a genuine attempt at being human. "My name's Punch D. Sundance. I'm a travelling story-teller from the West Blue. I was trying to make it to Ohara but... that didn't work out. Apparently, I'm in a whole other sea-dara!" Sundance exclaimed, laughing nervously. "Is this the same man that just took out this big lug... Either he's really lucky or incredibly stupid to the point stuff just works out." Troy thought to himself. Anne walked over to inspect the man's corpse, in attempts of pulling him outside the pub, she couldn't have her dirt floor be stained with maggots and blood, it was hard enough to keep clean as is. However, in attempts of removing the body, Anne noticed the hole Jed's skull, after which she passed out. "Mom!" Troy shouted, rushing over to her mother's side. Leaning over to check his mother's condition, Troy now noticed the hole in Jed's head. Glancing up with immense alarm, "WHO IN THE WORLD ARE YOU!?" Troy shouted, almost screaming. "Is everyone in this town slow-dara... I just said I'm Punch D. Sundance. You can call me Punch for short. I just told you who I am silly." Sundance said shrugging. "HOW IS YOUR NAME PUNCH!?" Troy shouted. "That's what he chose to freak out about..." Anne thought, regaining consciousness from the man's initial screech.

As Troy tried to wrap his head on the pure madness that was this situation but something even more bizarre began to transpire as the girlish looking boy began to strip down to his boxer's. Digging through his large backpack, which material was made of red stained leather, Sundance began to change into a three-quarter shorts, snazzy straw sandals and a tee-shirt with the graphic of a jolly-roger on it. All of which, he managed to change into while maintaining the Boat-Hat on his head. Right before Sundance was able to put on his last piece of garment, Tory interjected, lunging towards the male with a flying-jump kick. Side stepping, Sundance and Troy collided, the end result the two male's laid atop each other in a very uncomfortable manner. As Anne regained consciousness, her face flushed bright red with what appeared to be before her eyes, was the sight of her son, ripping off Sundance's clothes. "I-I- didn't know you we're into things like this..." the woman exclaimed loudly before passing out again. "Ouch. Be gentle... It's my first time." Sundance exclaimed winking. The man's statement made Troy scramble to the other side of the room, hopping over the counter. Springing up off the ground due to a front flip from his string bean looking legs, the six foot male stuck out his tongue, "As if-dara. I'm just messing with you. Your fault for calling me a woman earlier." Sundance exclaimed. After a few hours had pass, Troy escorted his mother to her room, while sat in a chair as Troy cleaned up the mess he caused . "You could help a little you know!" Troy shouted. "I could. Hishi Hishi!" Sundance chuckled, lifting the chair-legs off the ground as diaphragm expanded in and out rapidly for the jolly howl. Outwardly sighing, "Even his laugh is weird..." Troy thought. "Does stuff like this happen often? With the knuckle head and his foot solider types-dara?" Sundance inquired, after a few minutes passed. "Karate Island isn't exactly the island the Marines dispatch it's officers to often. Since a child, my momma and papa have been protecting this old bar pretty much on their lonesome. Heck, he's the one who taught me how to fight." Troy stated, finally finishing in kneading the blood into the sand floor's surface. "Oh. Where's your pops now-dara?" Sundance inquired. Troy's whole demeanour changed as his hand began to seemingly tremble with anger. "Get-out!" Troy shouted. "Anyone who has the nerve to ask me about that waste of sperm... Doesn't deserve to be in my presence." Troy shouted, his eyes glazed over in pure rage. Smiling, Sundance tipped his Boat-Hat over to cover his eyes, landing the chair's legs onto the ground. In one motion, returning to his feet, the man grabbed his backpack and walked towards exiting the pub. Right before he exited, "That anger... In your heart, it'll serve to break you down more than it'll do you good-dara." Sundance uttered before disappearing into the street. Peaking from behind the curtains of the shop's backroom, Anne watched her sons aggression but she too, felt the same and as such, the son and mother's tale would be revealed another day.

On various ports around the island, the South Blue's finest martial artists gather to Karate Island. For soon, one of Karate's island's most revered martial artists and richest tycoon's was about to hold a tournament like none ever before held in the other Seas. Outside of the Kahuna Company's Bar and Grill, one of the more developed buildings on the islands, several top named martial artists slash celebrities gather within the buildings walls. The crowd ushered around the pathway towards the building, stuck on the outside of the estates' gate, only able to see when the Martial Artists and their schools arrived at the entrance. "Look!" one of the women in the crowd announced, "That's the Junior XXX Heavy Weight Champion of The South Blue, 'Big Money' Patterson." the woman shouted, explaining to the group of gawking women who were infatuated with his Macho bravado. Surrounded by a small platoon of ten students, Patterson shouted outside the estates gates. "AYE MAN!" Patterson shouted at the top of his range. "I'm a big name celebrity. Where's my horse carriage escort from the port as promised!?" Patterson shouted, almost pressing his eye against the Den Den Mushi Camera, which stuck on the peak of the gate's fifteen feet stature. "I know the air might be thin up there... but are you really that dumb? Whose going to pay for a horse carriage to carry your big ass from the port? Idiot." a spiky haired man stated, as his men cleared the civilian in the area by nudging them onto the ground. Running his comb through his spiky hair (for the comb to be stuck in one patch), the man looked up towards Patterson with an immense intensity. "Oh dear! It's School Punk Jerry Of The Freestyle Biker Style... He ate the Wheel Wheel Fruit, now he's a wheel human. His martial arts doesn't have any students... Instead this weird Fruit is passed down through generations in the family. It's said to be magic" one the crowd's men commented. Jerry's ears expanded widely as the locals knew exactly who he was, grinning with immense glee. Raising his foot to smush the man, Jerry turned his hand into a wheel to counter. Suddenly, the gates opened. "ENTER GENTLEMEN!" Kahuna's voice rung around his property, making the two fighters freeze in their tracks. "'Great White' Kahuna eh...." Jerry commented, reverting his hand back to normal.

The outside of the building had a traditional dojo feel, irrespective to it's massive square-foot size. As the warriors walked along the polished hard wood floors, Kahuna's disciples scattered around the estate, tending to the everyday duties. Amazed, Patterson whistled at the smoothness of the operation. Following a disciple to the meeting room, the door slid open from one gentle thrust from the disciple, before the two escorted, eight other fighters sat around on tea ceremony mats, drinking tea awaiting their arrival. Grinning, Jerry and Patterson took seats at the remaining opened matts, as Kahuna sat on a slightly elevated platform. Grinning slightly, "Good! Now you're all hear-desu. Welcome. Among you, are ten of the most elite fighters in the South Blue. This my exclusive pre-invitational, where I invite the best of this years entries to a light beverage before the conflict." Kahuna grinned, knelt towards the warriors before him. "Most of you know each other from last years tournament... The only difference this time... is during the off-season. The man closest to my right has self-proclaimed himself as 'The Best Raw Fighter' in the South Blue." Kahuna announced, pointing to the man who quietly sipped his tea as the whole incident unfolded. The pressure from each Martial Artist filled the room, making it hard most of the disciples who acted as waiters to feel choked, some even opted to leave the room from the pressure. "Anything to say, Samuel?" Kahuna inquired grinning as he scarfed down a bento box filled with sweets. Sitting at five foot but with an actual height of eight feet, the melanoid warrior simply grinned, continuing to sip his tea. "During this years tournament... I'll prove that my statement isn't just empty words. As it stands... Not even Kahuna can defeat me. In our spars, I've tied with him one thousand times consecutively. If I was to get serious... the old bastard would be dead. It's a new era men." Sammy commented, resting the empty tea-cup onto the floor's matting. Meanwhile, elsewhere on Karate Island, in an alleyway, Punch leaves several punks covered in acid, as he collects their money as start up float. "Alright. Finally at a million. Only took two days of robbery and pickpocketing-dara." Sundance stated.

Walking through the streets of Karate Island, Sundance began the first stunt in turning his side hustle, into a million dollar swindle. Procuring a stall on the market district, Sundance began to shout from the top of his lungs. "High level body guard or contractor for sale! I'll take on any and all challenges!" Sundance shouted. Walking up to the stall was a woman nearly ten feet in height, her mocha brown skin, long luscious legs and curvy figure made all the men on the island whistle. Learning in to the stall, the woman's face approached like a gigantic blimp which freaked Sundance out a bit. He had one weakness, women and touchy ones at that fact. In an instant, the woman picked up the male, as if he was a rag-doll. "Ohhhhh body guard eh? You're such a cutie little girl, why'd you want to fight?" the stranger near giant of a woman inquired. Meanwhile, Sundance eyes rolled back in the back of his head, he was unconscious, foaming from the mouth. "Too... much... touching..." Sundance uttered, completely stunned.

Releasing shockwaves outward in frustration, the ten foot tall woman felt a surge of shockwave rush through her arms, causing her to free the girlish boy. Landing face first in the dirt, the locals looked on at the Long Legged Tribeswomen. "OH MY GOD!" Roxanne exclaimed. "I DROPPED HIM!" she continued, sticking out her tongue in astonishment. "Alright... Alright... Let's get my story straight... I was walking pass-" Roxanne began to whisper to herself. Returning to his feet, Sundance began to dust off his clothes. "Women. Are. Scary." Sundance would think as he shuddered slightly, recapping the last brief moments of his capture. Stooping down about five feet, the woman now made eye-contact with Sundance. Her voice ringing in his ears almost like a loud speaker would, within a mere inches of the ears. "SORRY!" Roxanne exclaimed. Stepping backwards a few inches, Sundance's body language appeared petrified, Roxy interpreted this as Sundance being afraid of her height. "I promise I'm not going to step on you!" Roxy exclaimed, tilting her head in a bow slightly. "Hey. You know, pretending to be someone your not, it's a little annoying." Sundance retorted. "Eh!?" Roxy responded in a shocked tone. Making direct eye-contact with Roxanne, "I want my purse back. I'm actually astonished that you we're able to slip into my pockets with such delicate hands such as your own. Hishi Hishi..." Sundance exclaimed, emptying his pockets to show that he'd been robbed. Squatting, lunging into mid-air, Roxanne hopped over one building in a single motion winking. "Damn it! Get back here-dara!" Sundance exclaimed, dashing through the alleyway to chase after the woman. Meanwhile, back at Kahuna's residence.

The top martial artists in the South Blue concluded their meeting, Kahuna and the remainder of the martial arts leave the meeting with a bitter taste in their mouth, each approaching the carriages that would take the male's back to their hotel. However, blocking the carriage way of Sammy's exit was 'Big Money' Patterson. "Hey kid. Is what yer ugly mug uttered in their truth or false? Did you really tie with that monster Kahuna!?" Patterson inquired. Not ceasing his motion, Sammy continued his advance towards his carriage. "Does it mean that much to you, Patterson? To simply answer your question, yes. Though each time, had we both continued, we'd both be dead. The Kahuna Tournament is famous for settling feuds of whose going to be the best. So don't worry-" Sammy uttered, virtually disappearing before Patterson's eyes and stepping on his carriage steps. In his hands, Sammy tossed the disarmed boxer's gloves onto the floor. "We'll have more than enough time to settle whatever insignificant thoughts you have muddling around in that head of yours." Sammy grinned before exiting the estates walls.

Breathing heavily, Sundance finally cornered the woman inside of a rural slums. Surrounded by several cardboard and minuscule plywood builds, the giant of a woman was boxed in. "Look. I just want my purse back." Sundance stated, continuously breathing steeply to catch his breath from all of the running. "Oh my. Don't you know it's against the common courtesy to corner a woman?" Roxanne commented. "Lady. I'm starting to get quite pissed off-dara." Sundance said, as his perspiration started to transform into acid, dripping onto the ground, a swivel of white smoke funnelled upwards before fading. "Oh-ho..." Roxanne exclaimed, watching as the man's body gave off the smell of acid. "Your not an ordinary male are you. Okay! You pass." Roxanne uttered, tossing the purse towards the pirate's feet. Leaning over to pick up his purse, the woman dug into her sack. Pulling out a piece of paper, she opened earnestly, showing the words towards the Red Jacket Male. Peering upwards, almost done with this strange tall blue eyed lady, Sundance read the words of the poster. "I want to rob this place. The Grand Prize is 10,000,000 Million Beli. I'm not planning on fighting of course. I need you to enter this tournament and run distraction while I cause havoc behind the scenes. We'll split the cut 80/20." Roxanne stated, the former childish tone in her voice faded and a more confident, refine and alluring texture to her voice appeared. "Kahuna... Martial Arts Tournament huh... Hishi Hishi... Finally, something interesting." Sundance commented. At Anne's Pub, Troy receives the poster for the tournament at this same time, grinning, Tory contemplates sneaking off to join.

End of Day 1. The Kahuna Tournament Preliminaries start tomorrow!

Downtown Slums
River Hold

Five hundred in attendance, huddled around the ten ports, in the water, three hundred rowboats sat afloat in the River Hold which spanned for almost 1km through the dojo ridden isle. Standing on a single rowboat in the centre of the River, Kahuna looked on at the tons of Martial Artists, Samuel, Patterson, Jerry, Tory and Sundance to name a few, who'd all gathered for the beginning of the tournament. Wrapped around his ears were small Den Den Mushi snail earplugs, provided by Roxanne. Watching via binoculars, almost three hundred meters away on the other side of the river, with roller skates on, the woman spoke into the Den Den Mushi. "Look a little more intimidating damn it! Everyone looks so scary! You look like a lost little girl in a sea of men." Roxanne said, chuckling to herself about the sea-of-men, statement. "What's so funny?" Sundance whispered into the transponder. "Anyway... Just keep quiet, I think he's about to explain what's going on here." Sundance responded. "Okay... Keep them on your person at all-" Roxanne stated, cut short from the sound of Sundance tossing the transponders into the water. "THAT LITTLE BRAT! THOSE COST ME 20,000,0000 MILLION BELI!" Roxanne shouted. Sundance simply grinned as Kahuna began to speak, "Welcome. To the sixth annual Kahuna Martial Arts Tournament. In attendance, I've counted almost five hundred and sixty of you. The semi-finals of this tournament will take place in the Wilderness Arena, located on the other side of this island, almost 10KM. The only way into the Wilderness is via the River Hold!" Kahuna shouted. Sundance grinned menacingly, "Hishi Hishi... I was right. This will be fun." Sundance commented. "BEFORE YOU THEY ARE 300 ROW BOATS! YOU HAVE UNTIL SUNSET TO SAIL YOUR ROWBOAT DOWN THIS RIVER AND ENTER INTO THE WILDERNESS!" Kahuna shouted. "Only Sixteen of You will make be able to enter the semi-finals. I'm already guaranteed a spot." Kahuna concluded. "May the best men meet in 'Valhalla'." Kahuna concluded, placing his pedals into the water, with a single dual stroke the man's rowboat advanced almost ten meters in one motion. Jumping from the crowd immediately onto the boat, Samuel, Kahuna's protege began to row riverside. His strokes advancing him almost five meters at a time. "Monsters!" one of the men exclaimed. Running towards a vessel, Jerry hopped onto the rowboat, resting his hands behind him, the man converted his arms into plated wheels, separated by two inch creases. The motion propelled Jerry's boat ahead of the pack, moving at about 40-50 miles per kilometer. "Damn it! A Devil Fruit user! The boats-" a man shouted, only to be toppled over by the heard of men who raced to the rowboat, among them who was Troy who hadn't seen Sundance as yet. Slipping backwards to avoid the rush, Sundance watched as the five hundred men fought to obtain a rowboat. "Okay. If I use my Devil Fruit, that'd be no fun. Besides... There's a disadvantage to letting person know you have Devil Fruit abilities in a competition like this." Sundance stated. Standing next to Sundance, a man about eight feet tall heard his statement, "Oh! You mean Jerry... Bingo! You are correct... The drawback is simple. Hammers can't swim. Hohoho..." the colossal muscular man, who also decided to stand at the back and observe concluded. "But little man! If you sit back here... You'll loose your chance at a rowboat!" the muscular built man commented, entering a mad bull rush. In one motion, the man's collective force pushed at least twenty men into the river who stood at the port all fighting in hand to hand combat to obtain a rowboat. Further up the River Hold, Jerry and Samuel's boats lined up directly next to each other, moving at incredible speeds. Smiling, "Interesting trick you've got their School Punk Jerry is it?" Samuel commented, maintaining his fifty kilometer pace. Dropping one of his paddles inward, maintaining the strokes with his left hand, Sammy pointed his right hand towards Jerry's boat. "Air Pillar" Sammy announced, with one quick outward and inward retraction of his hand, the martial arts fired a wind pillar, in the shape of a log which ripped apart Jerry's rowboat, lunging him into the River's depths. "What in the world was that-" Jerry shouted as water filled his lungs, sinking beneath the river's depths.

Finally finishing stretching, Sundance changed his outfit, into a Hawaiian Dress-shirt with several tropical flowers plastered across it's frame, thick black shades and a black three quarter pants to match back with his black boat-hat. On the other-side of the river, stomping her feet repeatedly into the ground, cracking the wooden dock beneath her feet, Roxanne watched on in frustration. "Not only did this brat destroy my tech... He's behind in the race... Does he even understand the rules!? Damn it! What's going on?" Roxanne commented, even more frustrated, not being able to hear the full rules before the frequency was cut. "Alright. Attire! Check! Competition reduced to lower than two hundred... Check! Rowboats remaining..." Sundance commented, circling the docks. "Six." Sundance stated with a grin. Pushing off the ground, Sundance lunged five meters in the air, landing on several bodies momentarily, using the sea of bodies as a bridge towards the dock, hopping from dockside, he lunged into a rowboat that'd floated a few inches away from the dock during a conflict. Crash landing, the man cranked up beginning to pedal for dare life, exiting the port with almost no hassle, taking breaks in between pedals to adjust his boat-hat tighter on to his skull. The current positions are as follows: At the 5KM Mark - Kahuna, at the 1KM Mark - Samuel , at the 500 M Mark from start, the muscular monster, Slade and exiting the port at this point at the 10M Mark, are Sundance and Patterson. In between these competitors, are several other famed martial artists, each pedalling towards The Wilderness.

Sailing into the forest portion of the River, Kahuna and his protege Samuel arrive into the outer echelon of the Wilderness. "This tournament is pointless." Samuel declared as his rowboat crashed into the riverbed, hopping onto the murky surface of the forest contents. Gracefully sailing onto the riverbed, Kahuna step off the small craft, grinning at his student's cheeky statement. "In your mind this tournament is pointless. Who could surpass us!? However, that's how you loose fights. Over-Confidence and Pride is a thin line." Kahuna announced. "I'll try to bit my tongue for now." Samuel commented, lunging into the forest via a gigantic tree vine. "I'll meet you at the arena point... The heart of the Wilderness, Babel." Samuel said before he faded into the thick flora. Kahuna sat on the riverbed, awaiting the other competitors. Meanwhile, exiting the port, Patterson and Sundance's vessels race next to each other. "Exploder Hook!" Patterson shouted, slamming his fist on top of the river, a torrential wave rushed towards Sundance's boat which was about eight meters away. "SERIOUSLY-DARA!" Sundance shouted, increasing the pace of his pedalling, creating a wider distance between himself and Patterson. "Did he just make an explosion occur above the water...?" Sundance thought. Ahead of Sundance, about ten meters, six vessels traversed down the river. Grinning, Sundance abandoned his pedals, bending his knees, Sundance lunged from his boat in mid-air, landing his two legs into two rowboats, causing them to topple over, Sundance scrambled onto the boat leading the pack. Resting against the martial artist back, Sundance placed his hand on the warrior's face, which was veiled by the angle he was facing. "Hishi Hishi... Pedal faster." Sundance declared. "Umm... Okay! But... It's kind of embarrassing that your touching my face so commonly." the woman declared, with a blush on her face. "Eh?" Sundance inquired confused, turning towards the woman, he believe was a male. Pedalling steadily, "I don't mind sharing a boat but it's rude to touch a lady's face." the woman commented, as she breathed slightly heavier. "W-W-W- woman." Sundance declared, scrambling to the other side of the boat, Sundance fell into the water. Stopping her pace, the woman hopped off the boat, swimming to retrieve Sundance. As the man's body sunk beneath the dirty river water, the woman trailed quickly behind, latching onto Sundance's body, the martial artist, pulled herself and Sundance to the surface. Tossing the male into the rowboat, the woman hopped into the vessel. Taking off her Karate Gi, only to reveal a black close fitting vest. Shaking the water out of her hair, the woman noticed Sundance wasn't breathing. Placing her lips against his, she began to conduct CPR, resuscitating him back to life. As Sundance came to, coughing all of the water that rested in his oesophagus into the boat in the form of vomit, he touched his lips releasing what had just happened. "I- I- K- K-" Sundance began to freak out before passing out again. "I don't even know your name! Now I can't get married! When you wake up, I'll have you take responsibility." the woman smiled warmly, tucking her royal purple hair behind her ear to stop it from blowing in her face. "I CAUGHT UP!" Patterson announced, now storming towards their current position. "Ohoho... Interesting. That woman... Muiyuki Tensen. The 44th Heir to the Tensen Dojo... I heard she's a woman whose slain dragons with her barehands... Why is she in a backwater sea such as this?" Patterson said, gulping heavily as the boat approached. "It seems from the looks of it, only thirty more vessels remain on this riverbed. Someone's taking out competitors further up." Muiyuki commented. Patterson, Muiyuki and Sundance are now 8KM from their designated docking point, however, 9KM perched off, is another martial artists whose goal is to thin down the heard from sixteen, to even lower. Sitting at six foot(standing at nine), the masked male's spiky black hair blew in the gentle river-side breeze. "I missed Samuel and Kahuna... but I feel some stronger ones coming." the man announced, licking his lips beneath the mask.
