Pressure-Pressure Fruit

Devil Fruit: Pressure-Pressure Fruit
Devil Fruit Type: Paramecia

Devil Fruit Appearance: The Pressure-Pressure Fruit had a perfectly spherical shape, with only a dimple on top, from which it was attached to the branch. It was completely white in color, with a shiny tint to it that made it appear as if it were glowing. It had a scaly skin, like a pineapple’s, but completely soft to bite. On these scales, there were round, swirling patterns, which could almost make one dizzy if stared at for too long.
Devil Fruit Description: The Pressure-Pressure fruit gives its eater the ability to control the pressure of fluids that are in the gaseous state. The ability to control pressure can also influence the temperature as they are directly proportional. With this fruit’s power, it becomes almost second nature for its user to control the air pressure around him, not only changing its magnitude but also its direction, despite pressure being a scalar quantity. This also implies that the user can control the pressure within his area of influence in the most minute of locations.

Devil Fruit Passive/Toggled Abilities:

Pressure Parade: At Tier 2, the user unlocks the ability to use pressure expansion to deal UT damage to any opponents within range, even if he cannot directly see them but can sense them through kenbunshoku haki.

Pressure Thermostat: At Tier 3, the user unlocks the ability to control the temperature of his immediate environment to a certain degree by altering the air pressure. However, this ability can only be used outside of combat situations, as it requires a great deal of finesse. At Tier 6, however, the user can use this ability during combat also.

Pressure Walk: At Tier 4, the user unlocks the ability to walk or run, on air outside of combat situations freely. This is done by applying the appropriate amount of air pressure under the user’s foot, creating a sort of stepping stone. At Tier 5, this ability can be applied to up to 4 people other than the user himself. At Tier 6, this ability can be used within combat situations also, however, while this is active in combat, the user suffers a 10% reflex penalty.

Pressure Guard: At Tier 5, the user unlocks the ability to unconsciously block projectiles that are being shot towards him from a distance of more than 10m. The user can only block these projectiles if the attacker’s DMG% is less than 25%. There is no limit to how many projectiles can be blocked, as long as the attack stat falls beneath the threshold. However, while this is active, the user suffers a 10% reflex penalty.

Pressure Ball: At Tier 6, the user unlocks the ability to form a bubble of constant air pressure around him, keeping the air within it, trapped inside, while keeping any non-speeding matter outside of it from entering. Any attacks from outside will simply pass through the bubble and damage the user as per their usual effects. (Works very similarly to the Sabaody Archipelago/Fishman Island bubbles, except it cannot be cut or ripped open unless the user releases it, or is knocked unconscious. While inside this ball, the user can move around along with the ball, without having to move his legs.  While this ability is active, the user suffers a 20% reflex penalty. This ability can also be maintained underwater as long as the bubble was created before coming into contact with water.

Fighting Style: Conqueror’s Ambition
Weapon Utilization: Robotic Arm
Specialization: Variable range: Melee to Long Distance
Description: This fighting style involves the user applying his pressure controlling abilities to his improvised melee movement techniques, giving him greater range for his physical attacks. The fighting style also involves the moderate use of the three forms of haki, utilizing the user’s expertise in it.

Just know that being submerged in Sea Water would negate this passive's functionality. Also, the bubbles defense would suffer from the same Attack versus Defense calculation etc.

Thanks for checking out the techs, Laz~ Here are my comments to the corrections:

1. Pressure Bubble: The entire point of pressure bubble is to allow Gray an option for survival underwater. So, as long as he had the bubble created before he goes underwater, the bubble would remain, since the seawater would not actually make contact with his body. Also, the defense of the bubble is essentially zero, as it does not actually defend the user from any damage. Any attacks will pass through it as if jumping out from water, into air. The only thing being that since the air pressure layer isn't actually tangible, it cannot be ripped like a bubble, thus the water outside won't start leaking in once an attack penetrates it.

2. Get over here: This is a pull ability that has no damage of its own. I chose 75%, as that would be the average defense of a character that is still two tiers below Gray's. It's not OP in any sense.

3. Pressure Cage: This ability was intended to have a very small cage. It would be more like a binding/crowd-control ability. Keep in mind though, the reason why I didn't include any stat debuffs is because the user isn't actually able to damage his opponents while using this ability. However, I've updated the description to include a gist of the size of the cage.

4. Conqueror's Dogma: Armageddon: This ability is an extremely heavy AoE, and one of Gray's strongest attacks. It is one of the few techniques that Gray has that can actually be used on opponents of his tier (assuming they aren't too quick for him). The knocking down doesn't actually have a stun effect, so I don't think a defense of under 75% (let alone 50%) is reasonable. Think of your Tigris Shockwave AoE. It does not have a defense requirement placed to have an effect, does it? And while you could argue that Tigris Shockwave does require charging, it also has much more maneuverability than Armageddon, since its direction can be controlled even after it is launched, and it does not have terrain requirements like Armageddon does.

Even if a part of the user is submerged, they cannot use their Devil Fruit powers, no matter how much or how little is submerged. However, if the user's body has been permanently altered by the Fruit, then the user's ability can be manipulated by outside sources; e.g., when Luffy was knocked into and sunk to the bottom of the pool atArlong ParkGenzo and Nojiko dove underwater and stretched his neck so his head would be above water, allowing him to respirate. It should also be noted that although all Devil Fruit users are weak against water, the power itself may still works underwater (for example, Galdino can survive underwater by creating a bowl of waxsurrounding him, and the keys he creates can be used to open Seastone handcuffs.)

In light of this, do some further research, I'll allow this passive.

Understood.

Alright seen.

Fair enough point and reasoning.

Aside from this of the fact, this application is now approved! Congratulations pressure pressure man! Don't cause too much trouble-desu~
