 Less Cooldowns, More Techniques

When I saw the layout for a character's techniques, I was wondering why the cooldowns were so long. I believe they should be shortened to a more appropriate length. Here is how I think it should look:

Recommended Cooldowns
Light Attacks: 1-2 posts
Medium Attacks: 3-4 posts
Heavy Attacks: 5-6 posts
AOE Attacks: 7-8 posts

I also think that we should have a larger number of techniques to give fighting styles more versatility and creativity.

Cooldowns have a lengthy period because in reality, you shouldn't be able to spam techniques all willy nilly like in One Piece. This is an One Piece RP not the show, so obviously there will be restrictions.  As to you're call for large scope of techniques, the way it stands your fighting style is as versatile as your imagination permits it, it's all about using the different classes of techniques to your advantage. Concluded, I don't agree that cooldown's should be shortened, but I'm staff so that's biased I guess. Opened to all else to discuss ~

I have to agree with Caesar, I mean, I'm only a CB mod but I don't help with grading or system making so yeah. But anyways, I feel that cool downs should stay as is. Because like Caesar said, this a One Piece RP not the show. So things are not going to always work the exact same way.

What Caesar mentioned is absolutely correct. The overuse of techniques, while cool and all, can lead to utter confusion during RP sessions, as your RP partners try to scramble to find what each one of your technique does and how it works. The cool-downs are high only because sometimes.. a few posts can only represent a brief moment within the story's timeline. (For example, 5 posts could be representative of your actions within a single minute).

Thank you for giving me more insight on the reason for why the cooldown are as they are now. I didn't realize until now how important it was. As such, Ill accept the way the techniques are now. Besides, this may be an easier way for characters to choose and utilize their techniques more easily.
